The 69th Annual Golden Globes Awards held on sunday 15, January 2012 at Beverly Hilton Hotel, Beverly Hills California was an event to watch.
Ricky Gervais hosted this year’s ceremony. Ricky who is known for his sharp tongue did not fail to slow the tempo of the show down.
Celebrities graced the events in some of the best gowns and tux we will ever see this year. Celebrities like Kate Beckinsdale, Sarah Michelle Gellar, George Clooney, Jessica Biel, and more graced the event.
The beauty of the night was Sofia Vergara who wore a stunning blue Vera Wang gown and jewelry worth $5million from Harry Winston.
The Hollywood power couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were also among the most talked about. They both looked stunning as Angelina wore a white strapless gown by Atelier Versace and Brad wore a tuxedo by Salvatore Ferragamo. He was a perfect gentleman for the night, he started by opening the door for his woman to step down from the car when they arrived the red carpet. But that didn’t stop George Clooney from making fun of him while collecting his award.
The lifetime achievement award was given to Morgan Freeman and if you ask me its about time. He gave a short and straight to the point speech.
